Marvel's Wolverine launched worldwide on September 15, 2026, exclusively for PlayStation 5. Sony Interactive Entertainment says the game is developed by Insomniac Games in collaboration with Marvel Games and centers on Logan as he searches for answers about his past.

PlayStation describes it as a single-player, narrative-driven action-adventure. Unlike Insomniac's Spider-Man games, it is not an open-world title. The focus is a more tightly directed adventure built around Wolverine's mobility, combat and story.

Wolverine's adamantium claws form the core of the combat system. Players can use techniques and adaptations to approach encounters through aggression, ambushes and momentum-based attacks. DualSense haptics and adaptive triggers are also used to make combat feel more physical.
